Invited expert to TC-39 representing the language learnability.

Previously a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix. Lover of all things open source, his contributions span numerous ecosystems and active in the community as a Google Developer Expert for Web Technologies and W3C WebAssembly Community Group member.

Aarti Parikh is a software engineering manager with a decade of experience building teams and products for the Internet, IoT and now Fintech. In her last project, she managed the wholesale rewrite of several C services to Go, which greatly reduced bugs and increased developer velocity.

Diane Hosfelt is the security lead for the Mixed Reality team at Mozilla Research and works closely with the Rust Project to improve security with formal methods and unsafe code guidelines. In her free time, she enjoys the great indoors with her cats, Batman and Watson.

Bryan Cantrill is the CTO at Joyent, where he oversees worldwide development of the SmartOS and SmartDataCenter platforms. Prior to joining Joyent, Bryan served as a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where he spent over a decade working on system software, from the guts of the kernel to client-code on the browser. In particular, he co-designed and implemented DTrace, a facility for dynamic instrumentation of production systems that won the Wall Street Journal's top Technology Innovation Award in 2006 and the USENIX Software Tools User Group Award in 2008.
